1. Tarrant County College, in conjunction with local city governments, Chambers of Commerce and business leaders, is establishing a study/work program to train and educate beginning entrepreneurs in best practices to follow in establishing a new business. The community leaders in the area have recognized not only the need to help young entrepreneurs become successful in their new business ventures but to work together as a team to give the new business leaders well-rounded and effective training and education so that they are aware of all the elements needed to have the best opportunity of success.
An initial scholarship fund in the amount of $4,000 will be set up at TCCD for this endeavor.
2. Tarrant County College has a Center of Excellence in Culinary Arts on their SE Campus.
