Summary: Assist Habitat for Humanity provide permanent housing for a single father of 2 teenage children
Habitat for Humanity requested assistance to build a home for a single father of 2 teenage children. Currently the family lives in a rental property in an unsafe neighborhood. Additionally the home has plumbing and electrical issues as well as an infestation of bugs. This project will eliminate the poverty housing situation the family is currently living in providing a safe and maintained environment in addition to providing pride in ownership/financial responsibility to the family. The slab for this home will be poured in late September early October. The project funds of $3,500 will be used to pay for the electrical component of the home. The Wichita Falls Rotary Club members will assist by providing labor to build the home in late October. Completion of the home is expected to be in January 2016.
