Project Description Country: USA Location: Fort Worth Total Budget: $1,700 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Fort Worth In keeping with one of our clubs on going projects of providing dictionaries to six Fort Worth ISD Third Grade Students. Our club has focused on literacy for over twenty years now by providing children with - in many cases - the first any item that belongs to them first and not a hand me down. Thus the level of care and utilization of the dictionary is deemed to be beneficial for years to come. Teachers have also provided feed back that the dictionaries are used in class on a consistent bases. Funds well spent for the further education possibilities of all students involved.
