The school students are primarily from a low to moderate income area. We are providing
the iPads for use in the reading and math programs. Last year we were able to provide
the school twenty-five reconditioned iPad twos. This year the iPad two is no longer available so we will be providing iPad Air (reconditioned) for use in the school. Last year's devices are used primarily in one class room. The new devices will be used to
expand the program to another grade level. We will also need to provide a charging station
for the devices as well as ear buds for each student.
The School Staff has been able to quantify improvement in the reading skills for the students involved in the program.
