Project Description Country: USA Location: Goodyear Arizona Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Buckeye Support our ongoing local Dictionary Distribution Project to third grade students in Goodyear and Avondale Arizona. The funds will be used to buy Dictionary/Thesaurus for students. We intend to distribute all of the dictionaries in November 2016. The grant will allow us to purchase 400 Dictionaries from the Dictionary Project. Rotarians will participate by putting the Rotary Wheel and labels identifying the source of the dictionaries as coming from Goodyear White Tanks Rotary. Rotarians will also participate at the schools by being involved with one on one activities of handing out the dictionaries to the students.
