Project Description Country: USA Location: Goodyear, Arizona Total Budget: $3,200 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Economic and community development Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Food Box and Food Distribution to needy families in in the greater Goodyear, Arizona area. Families are identified by the local school district as having the greatest need of assistance to enrich the holiday season. By supplying food, the Club helps ensure that there will be a holiday meal. By supplying books, the Club is promoting literacy in hopes that effected children will be inspired to achieve a higher level of education. Club members are involved by helping to assemble and personally deliver our boxes to the families identified. Almost everyone is involved in some manner.
