Project Description Country: USA Location: Kearney, Nebraska Total Budget: $1,850 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: We would like to provide signage for the Rotary Nature Barn at both the entrance to the park and at the nature barn itself. We would also like to provide one indoor small cage in the nature barn for small animals. Our community has a Rotary Nature Barn at the Cottonmill Park recreational area located outside of our community. Our local club helped create the nature barn several years ago. We would like to add some professional designed signage at the entrance road to the park and also at the nature barn itself. The cost is estimated to be $1500.00. We would also like to purchase one indoor cage to put in the nature barn for small animals - the cost of each is $270.00 plus shipping. Our club members would help approve the design of the signage and help with installation of the signage and the cages as needed. The Rotary Nature Barn is open to the public and is designed specifically for the youth of our community and visitors to our area.
