Project Description Country: USA Location: Valentine Total Budget: $1,500 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Bench, Chair, Trash cans and Doormats for Valentine Airport The Valentine Airport is a small local airport, however, in recent years it has seen an increase in the number of private aircraft flying in and out of the airport. This project will provide some seating for customers and passengers who use the airport. We are proposing to purchase an outdoor bench and chair, each of which will have an engraved plate identifying Rotary as the donor. We will also provide two all-weather doormats and two trash cans. The addition of these items will improve the experience for travelers and help make the airport a more comfortable and welcoming place. The Rotary Club members will order, deliver and set up the items in coordination with the local airport manager.
