Summary: Habitat for Humanity Home - Riverton Wyoming

The Rotary Club of Riverton Wyoming is pledged to assist in building a Habitat for Humanity Home in 2016-2017. The club is able to provide $2,500 in funds to assist in buying materials and supplies and is seeking a $2,500 matching grant from the district. In addition the Rotary club will provide volunteers to help in the construction of the home as directed by the Habitat for Humanity Coordinator.

The Habitat for Humanity homes provide stable living spaces for low income individuals who do not have adequate housing. The recipients must assist in the construction of the home and repay a loan for some of the constructions costs. This project assists in building community pride in the recipients and volunteers who assist in building the homes. These homes promote a culture of volunteerism and economic and community development.
