Project Description Country: USA Location: Fullerton Total Budget: $6,880 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health, Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Project provides basic Dental, Vision and Breast Cancer Screening to low income families in Fullerton who do not have health Insurance The program serves underprivileged families in Fullerton who are without basic Health Insurance. Those served receive dental, vision, and Breast Cancer Screening from medical professionals. Prescription Eye glasses are provided for those needing them and basic immediate dental needs, such as fillings, are provided. The program serves about 300 individuals in one day and we also provide a lunch to the participants. We expect to have about 20 club participants and 10 of our Rotaract Club participants. The grant is needed to obtain new capital equipment and cover some basic expenses.
