Project Description Country: Haiti Location: Jeremie Total Budget: $15,000 Area of Focus: Peace and conflict prevention/resolution Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Playground equipment and construction for HopeStart Children's home (orphanage) in Jeremie, Haiti HopeStart, International has recently built a new children's home for homeless children. The grounds around the home are undeveloped and the children don't have a play area other than the dirt ground. RCLJ members will be traveling to Jeremie, Haiti to construct a new playground on the HopeStart property. The project is scheduled for January 2016 and is scheduled to be finished. We will also be bringing two dentistswho will provide dental exams and cleaning while we are in Haiti.
