Summary: The Rotary of San Diego-Paradise Valley Medical Mission is to provide Drugs and medical supplies and corrective eyeglasses in Mindoro, Occidental, Philippines for Medical, Dental and surgical Mission.


The District Grant Fund will be use to purchase drugs, clinical supplies, corrective eyeglasses, reading glasses and will be taken by the Rotarian Medical Mission Team to the Philippines on February 8,2017. Medical Mission schedule 2/8/2017 - 2/23/2017.

The Rotary Club of San Diego-Paradise Valley medical mission is to provide free medical care to the under served areas in the Philippines. The club is aided by Philippine Rotary Clubs, volunteer doctors, nurses from the Philippines and the United States. The medical mission serves child, children and adults with free medical consultation, surgeries ( circumcisions and minor surgeries), corrective eyeglasses and reading glasses, free vitamins and much needed medications for those who can not afford prescription drugs. The project will focus on educating the public/families about methods of disease prevention, health complications, proper nutrition, dental care and hygiene.

Goal: Distribution of drugs/Medications, clinical supplies for surgeries, corrective eyeglasses to the village in Magsaysay, Mindoro Occidental, Philippines. The local Rotarians with the cooperation of the local health clinic and municipal officials will follow the need and the condition of the people served.
