Summary: Provide water filtration equipment for consumption of and sale of water to neighboring towns in Nicaragua.
Rural villages have contaminated water available. The project would provide a water filtration system producing pure, potable water with capacity in excess of the village needs. The village will be able to produce and sell potable water to their neighboring communities. The availability of water will reduce the rates of illness and death among children and adults. The project will provide a source of income for the village. 12-25 Rotaractors will be invited to travel to Nicaragua to help with the installation during the trip to take place July 24-30, 2017.
