There are people who are unable to obtain adequate nutrition without assistance. Most of these are mothers with children.
Provide food for people without the resources to provide for themselves.
Assist "The Army" as needed with sorting, packaging and distributing food.
Provide funding for purchase of the food to be distributed. "The Army" can usually purchase food at substantially lower prices than we can, therefore funds are provided directly "to "The Army" with restrictions on their use to purchase food.
"The Army" also provides counselling on person financial management. It is our intend to support this endeavor with club member input as needed.
