The meeting building , which was built in 1940 By the NYA (National Youth Administration, a branch of the WPA , is in need of some significant floor and roof repairs. This facility is, and has been in continuous operation since construction was completed. It is a unique hand-constructed sandstone facility which has served as a meeting place for other entities beside the American legion. Its members include many Rotarians from the Stephenville Rotary Club. The current Commander is a past president of the local Rotary club. The Rotary club intends to designate $750.00, in addition to possible grant funds to this project.
