Project Description Country: USA Location: Twin Falls Total Budget: $2,650 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: 5 trees for community neighborhood parks As the City of Twin Falls grows, there are more new parks with insufficient landscaping to make them pleasant places for families to enjoy. The club will plant 5 new trees in various community parks to be identified by the Parks Department. Entire community of Twin Falls will benefit from the added shade and aesthetics in our parks. Complete cost including planting is $500 per 3 inch caliper tree. The club will assist in the planting of the trees and clean up the parks for better place to visit. Project will occur in the fall of 2017. Your project is approved. Having more money available to us from The Foundation, the district committee is increasing the DDF for your project. To get the additional money, go into your grant and cancel the signature process (description tab – admin.). Then go to the financing page and edit your financing to reflect $1,400 of DDF. You may reduce your club contribution or keep it the same, making sure your project remains “fully pledged”. Then send again for signatures. Changes will be reviewed by the district before final approval and notification of grant award.
