Project Description Country: USA Location: Gillette, WY Total Budget: $9,000 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Provide honorary 'Friendship' benches to be placed in strategic positions around a new sports complex in Gillette, Wyoming. The new sports complex in Gillette will be utilized by a multitude of various groups and individuals. This group of benches will be well marked in honor of local Rotarians who have passed away. Each bench costs approximately $2000, so the Gillette Rotary Club is seeking $4000 in district funds, which will be matched by the club with $5000. The anticipated number of benches would then be four, with enough money to have the inscriptions completed and actual installation of the benches. Pictures of similar benches will be sent with the project proposal. Thank you for your consideration.
