Project Description Country: USA Location: Laguna Beach, CA Total Budget: $1,500 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Food/Agriculture: General Summary: Food Packages for 25 Low Income Families in Laguna Beach and surrounding area. Calif. USA Project Purpose: To provide holiday food packages for 25 low income families. Meeting Community Needs: These families do not receive food assistance from the city or county. Our club will obtain the names of these needy families through the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach. Timeline: December 1 through December 20, 2012 All funds will be used to purchase food for the holiday packages. Based experience over the last two years each package is estimated to cost $60.
