Summary: Water fountain and trees in the Burkburnett park to provide clean drinking water to park visitors and shade trees.
The park in Burkburnett has two rusted out water fountains that do not work. The Rotary Club of Burkburnett would like to purchase and install one new water fountain for the visitors who walk the park and also plants some trees for shade. We would like to begin our project on August 1, 2017 and have it completed by October 5th, before our town's annual Friendship festival that we have in the park. Our club members would be involved in planting of trees in the park, however a plumber would have to be hired for the installation of the fountain. The cost of the fountain is approximately $4000 and the trees vary in price from $100-350.
