The club is requesting $2,500 from the District to help reach the goal of $80,000 to improve the concrete surface of the ice rink. Club involvement will include the FVHA's Try Hockey for a Day (kids get equipment and a lesson on hockey), putting up boards and getting the ice ready in November, and construction activities associated with the "Set in Stone" campaign.
