Project Description Country: USA Location: Oak Park-River Forest, IL Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Dictionaries provided to local 3rd grade public school students For many years the Club has provided a paperback dictionary to every 3rd grade public school student in Oak Park and River Forest. It's an amazing feeling to hold your very own dictionary and to use it to find any word you want! The look on the children's faces is priceless and their notes of thanks that we receive and the many positive comments from the teachers assure us the annual project is beneficial to all.
