Summary: Provide warm snow boots for needy elementary school children in Gillette Wyoming. (Centennial Grant)
There are many children within the schools of Gillette, Wyoming, who do not have the funds to pay for winter boots. The weather is cold and very snowy in the winter time and the Gillette Energy Rotary would like to be able to provide "outdoor boots" to as many children as possible. We will work with an entity such as WalMart, K-Mart, or Wyoming Workhouse for the best prices. The school counselors will give us a list of sizes needed at each of their schools and we will purchase the boots needed.
