Summary: Vocational Education Shop Construction Expense and shop tools for Casa Hogar San Inocencio/ Project Mexico


This request is for $3,500 matching funds to be used to finish paying the construction/electrical installation costs,and to purchase tools and equipment for the Casa Hogar San Inocensio Vocational Education Shop program, including a welder, more pneumatic tools and safety stations.

The contractor, SICOSA, that built the shop is 98% complete and expects payment within 1-2 weeks. This contractor has fallen in love with the orphanage and has hired Jorge, one of the 18-year old boys at the orphanage, to apprentice him in large steal structure construction.

Thank you for this submission. However, the deadline for District Grants for the 2017-2018 Rotary year was August 1. There are not sufficient DDF available to fund this grant at this time.
