Summary: Renovation of bathrooms at CMP (formerly Chinese Manpower Project) in NYC.


CMP promotes economic self-sufficiency and career advancement for economically disadvantaged immigrants and refugees, out of school youth with job training and placement, language classes, entrepreneurial. Their building, an older NYC building in the heart of Chinatown, is also heavily used by community groups and other non-profits. The bathrooms are old and are falling apart and are not pleasant to use. They are hard to clean. Chinatown Rotary will contribute to the renovation project by purchasing fixtures and paint and providing the painting themselves.
