Project Description Country: USA Location: Idaho Falls, ID Total Budget: $2,750 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Eleven Hundred Fifty Dictionaries provided to 3rd graders of Bonneville School District #93 Idaho Falls,ID Third grade students have learned to read and now they will be reading to learn and understand new words and concepts. Dictionaries are an important tool in the learning process. Our club will personally deliver dictionaries to all third graders and their teachers in Bonneville School District #93, one of the fastest growing districts in the northwest. Distribution will be completed during the first quarter of the 2018-19 school year, November 30, 2018. Our club has conducted fund raisers and club members have also pledged personal funds toward this project. A District grant will help fund the balance of the project. To initiate this process, go into your grant. On the administration side of the description tab, click on “start club signature process”. On the next page, check only the names of the primary contact person and the 2018-19 club president, then click “Send application for signatures”. You’ll both receive an email with instructions for activating your electronic signature. Do what it says. Until the history logs in the matching grants system indicate that both people have signed, your application is not finished. The district received more requests for DDF than money available requiring that cuts be made in funding. Your project is reduced to $1260 of DDF as the application was submitted without the required spending plan. We have cancelled the signature process and adjusted the financing to reflect this.
