Project Description Country: USA Location: Huntington Beach Total Budget: $3,800 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Economic and community development Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Ten Juniors from our local High Schools will be sent to the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp. Participation in RYLA will help provide education, motivation, and "life changing experiences" to 10 High School Juniors during the three day camp at Idylwild Pines. The camp includes transportation, lodging, food, motivational speakers, and support from facilitators who are Rotarians from District 5320. Students will receive advanced leadership experiences and knowledge of how Rotary provides services worldwide. Each year our Club Members participate in the camp.
