Rotarians are often asked "What is Rotary?" Considering we are the oldest service club in the world, this question reveals Rotarians have not educated the general public about our club, our mission, and our goals.
The Rotary Club of Casper recognizes that joining forces with other clubs is a perfect way to initiate a much needed Rotary educational campaign. Our plan is to saturate our local market with an abundance of educational messages, and we also plan to take part of our campaign state wide.
This educational campaign will take a "past, present, future" approach. We will include recaps of past projects, information about current projects and invite the community to join us in making future projects a reality, and will feature both local and international projects. We will include a variety of marketing methods including, newspaper, radio, television, billboards, and digital marketing.
Our project has three immediate goals: (1) to educate our community and state about Rotary; (2) to solidify support of Rotary current and future projects; and (3) to engage with potential future Rotarians.
We have reached out to the other local Rotary Clubs (Five Trails Rotary Club, Reveille Rotary Club, and Casper Rotaract Club) an invited them to join us in this informative project. We are excited at the response we have received. Two of the clubs have agreed to join forces with us (Reveille Rotary and the Casper Rotaract), and the third has given tentative support until their next board meeting.)
