Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Preston, ID

Total Budget: $5,000

Area of Focus: Economic and community development

Activity Type: Community Development: General

Summary: Electronic reader board placed for school district and public use on the main thouroughfair, Hwy 91

Currently no public reader board to educate the public as to upcoming school and community events. We plan to provide that electronic reader board and place it in front of the Preston Middle School as a community service. We plan to install this no later than October of this year and very possibly, sooner. The funds will be used to purchase the pole that the board will sit on, purchase concrete to erect that pole, and electric serive to light the board. The board has been donated by a Preston Rotary member and some further funds may be used to upgrade the board if needed. The club will provide all labor to install the reader board and heavy equipment needed to erect it will be provided by club memebers as well.
