Project Description Country: USA Location: Thermopolis, WY Total Budget: $4,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Purchasing a blanket warmer for a nursing home, to provide the residents with warm blankets in Thermopolis, WY. The residents are often cold and the staff have identified that a blanket warmer is needed to help the residents get warmer faster. The blanket warmer will help heat residents up faster than a regular blanket would be able to. The blanket warmer is out of the budget of the nursing home. We plan to purchase the blanket warmer as soon as the funds become available, and anticipate that it will take a month to six weeks to get it in once it has been ordered. Upon arrival and installation, our club will do a dedication celebration with the residents. We did a commissioning and had a newspaper reporter there taking photos.
