Project Description Country: USA Location: Boise Total Budget: $2,200 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Our project is to provide school supplies and nutritional snacks for homeless students in the Boise School District There are approximately 1700 homeless students in the Ada County with a large portion being located in the Boise School District. These students lack the resources to purchase the school supplies that are required for them to perform in the classroom. Our Club will be purchasing and packaging school supplies for Elementary School students to be distributed prior to the start of the school year. We will also be purchasing and packaging nutritious snacks for distributing prior to the 2019 spring break.
