Project Description Country: USA Location: Norridge-Harwood Heights Total Budget: $875 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: The Club will distribute dictionaries to all third graders in our community and discuss the 4-way test. We will provide dictionaries to all third graders (approximately 350) in our community. Our area has a diverse student population of learners and these dictionaries will help them with the English language. All Rotarian's (13) pair up with Interact students (8-10) from Ridgewood High School to deliver the dictionaries. Visits are coordinated with each school so that Rotarian's can distribute the dictionaries and review the four way test. All students will receive their dictionaries by November 15, 2018.
