Project Description Country: USA Location: Carefree, Arizona Total Budget: $3,450 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: Volunteer Services Summary: Provide assistance to the elderly thru Foothill Caring Corp in Carefree Arizona. repair of a badly deterioratin residence. Foothills Caring Corp., an elderly and disable assistance program was contacted to see if there was a need. They referred RCSN to this couple. The elderly couple, the husband has had a stroke, needs assistance to repair their deteriorating residence; roof leaks and repairs, ceiling repairs, floor sheathing and flooring repairs, and leveling of trailer. This project will fix these dangerous conditions and provide better living conditions for the couple. The timeline is to have the projects completed by the fall of 2018. Club members will assist in the determining the scope of work, soliciting contractors, scheduling repairs, removal and replacement of contents and furniture and clean-up.
