Project Description Country: USA Location: Eastchester NY Total Budget: $5,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment Activity Type: Health: Disease Summary: Summer Camp for children with kidney disease. The summer camp is open to children from all walks of life. However, it is unique in that it also provides dialysis treatment for children with kidney disease, thus allowing them the full experience of 'sleep away' camp. We will partner with Ruth Gottscho Kidney Foundation (a 501 c3) by providing the financial assistance for the drugs and specialized liquids needed to operate the dialysis equipment. Our timeline will be May 2019 through June 2019. Club members will be allowed to visit the camp.
