Summary: The Rotary Club of Mesa West will purchase Laundry equipment being a dryer and Steam ironing equipment for Open Arms Orphanage in Komga South Africa
This non profit orphanage is home to 57 children who have the promise of a home for as long as they need it. Not simply the age of majority. This location is a 70 acre complex in South Africa was purchased in 2006 by Bob and Sallie Solis (Sun City Rotarian's) and is runs purely on donations. At present the laundry capability is woefully insufficient. They have built a new building for the Laundry but have no equipment. Mesa West will purchase a large commercial dryer and a large steam ironing machine. The equipment will be purchased sometime during 2018. 2 members of our club have went to the orphanage and examined the needs, other Rotarian's in our club will research the purchase and complete the purchase in South Africa
