Project Description Country: USA Location: Bronxville Total Budget: $5,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Help the Counseling Center purchase, install and use software to manage fundraising for those unable to pay for counseling services. The Counseling Center is a group of highly trained psychotherapists with a wide range of expertise. All of the therapists are seasoned, experienced clinicians. The goal is to provide clients with excellent care in a warm and supportive environment. Treatment is tailored to meet the needs of each individual, couple or family. Many potential clients from underprivileged environments cannot afford to pay for the services. In this situation, the psychotherapists work for a reduced rate, and are also paid by a fund set aside for this purpose. In order to offer services to the less fortunate, the Center must raise funds to underwrite the costs of these services. This project will help the center to purchase software to assist in the fundraising process. A member of the Bronxville Rotary Club will, on a pro bono basis, assist the Center with the implementation of this project. The project will begin in 4Q2018.
