Summary: Equipt Central Wyoming College with a state-of-the-art virtual simulation laboratory in Jackson Hole for nursing trauma students.
Central Wyoming College has identified a need to create and maintain a State of the Art learning and teaching center to train students at the new Nurses College in Jackson Hole. Funding will be used to equipt two spaces with the latest interactive learning technology A new simulation lab will enable future nurses to learn and develop clinical judgement skills in a virtual reality environment. The goal is to train new nurses who will work to treat, prevent disease and care for patients in Wyoming. The goal is to accomplish this within one year. The funds will purchase classroom equipment and interactive audio-visual aids to promote learning. Providing well trained nurses with trauma skills to our community and elsewhere in the state will substantially benefit our communities and the economy.
