Summary: Increase the Peace program to combat violence in Back of the Yard community


The Club is working with the community-based organization "Increase the Peace" at the grassroots level to combat the violence within the Back of the Yard, Chicago. Rotarians will help the organization raise awareness and support/introduce programs to help the community receive resources from private and public entities to help break the cycle of poverty and violence.

The District Grants Committee cannot close the 2018-19 grant with Rotary International until your final report is complete.

The final report for your club’s 2018- 19 District Grant project is past due. The District Grants Committee cannot close the current grant from Rotary International until your club’s final report is submitted. This means that no club can receive their funds for 2019 – 2020 until your report is completed.

You still haven't completed your club's final report for grant P-2550, Peace In Our Community. The deadline for submitting the final is Monday, August 12, 2019. This is a hared deadline. Your club may have to forfeit its 2019-2020 grant, if this deadline isn't met.
