Follow up to our $1000 Grant gift to CCSS After the grant was presented, We asked directors of CCSS where our club could be of most help for a follow up project. They stated they continue to be in need of funds for continued expenses in housing and supporting victims of domestic violence at their residence. Our club agreed to coordinate and host a follow up fundraiser. We coordinated an evening at Miller's Ale House in Orland Park The restaurant generously offered 15% of all food & beverage sales as a donation to CCSS. We had over 60 people attend the evening and raised an addition $400+ to donate to CCSS. We were able to advertise the event through our Chamber of Commerce and raise awareness for CCSS as well as our club - both doing great things for those in need in our community.
