Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Libby MT

Total Budget: $5,000

Areas of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene, Community economic development

Activity Type: Water: Sanitation

Summary: Kootenai Valley Rotary (Libby MT) to Attend Project Fair Antigua, Guatemala

Project Fairs provide enhanced training for club leaders as well as opportunities to form partnerships with other districts and clubs to better fund and implement Global Grant Projects. The development and funding for global grants can be challenging for clubs and members.

This grant will help fund the travel, registration and lodging costs associated with attending the fair. Club members will attend workshop sessions, view other project presentations, and promote our club and district as viable, experienced and very effective partners for future Global grant projects.

At their own expense upon conclusion of the fair, the attendees (George Gerard, Linda Gerard, Mick Shea and Eileen Carney) will visit our current projects, as well as 'Maya Pedal' - the same destination for several of our interact clubs.
