Project Description Country: USA Location: Anchorage Total Budget: $20,000 Areas of Focus: Maternal and child health, Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: continuation of district wide support for children navigating foster care in all communities across Alaska children in foster care often lack basic needs, including support and material and they are forced to move many times during their engagement with foster care. this program provides back packs and duffel bags, toiletries, and other necessities. This program started in 17-18, and the district leadership would like to see it continued and expanded. Club members will coordinate with the project leadership on delivery of items, and the exploration of additional needs.
