Summary: To provide funding for four park benches, bike repair stand, and a trash receptacle for Rotary Park on the Greenbelt


Eagle-Garden City Rotary is working with Boise City Parks and Recreation to fund a new park on the Boise River Greenbelt. This grant is to fund four park benches, a bike repair stand and a trash receptacle. Total cost of these elements is $8,227, to be provided and installed by the general contractor building the park. This cost can be viewed in the contractor's total job estimate on the documents page of this grant.

Eagle-Garden City has done other projects on the Greenbelt over the years. Members will be involved in this project working with the contractor to install landscaping features.

Project is 90% complete. Only the move of the monument and the installation of the interpretive signs remains to be completed. The signs have been made and are ready to be installed once the monument has been moved.

This project is finished and was dedicated in a ceremony on October 4, 2020 at the site on the Greenbelt with City Officials in attendance. A photo of the completed benches, bike repair stand and trash receptacle is being uploaded today with this report. Total cost of the entire project was $85,000, including this grant.
