Project Description Country: USA Location: Hastings, Nebraska Total Budget: $10,000 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: A fence will be installed to improve the safety and utility of a youth baseball field in Hastings, Nebraska. The youth of Hastings, Nebraska need a safe location to play and learn leadership associated with participation in athletic activities. A baseball field has been established in a local park but the facilities need to be improved. Installation of fencing will make the park much safer for youth to participate in sporting activities. A fence will be placed on the sides and back of the field to provide protection for participants and spectators. Funds are needed to purchase the fence, installation materials and installation labor.
