Project Description Country: USA Location: Boise Total Budget: $2,871 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Community economic development Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Registration fees for 29 underprivileged 3rd and 4th graders to One Stone STEM summer camp One Stone is a student-led, independent and tuition-free high school that will be hosting the STEM summer camp. One Stone members will serve as teen mentors to the young campers-so multiple audiences will be served (One Stone members who gain experience as mentors, and the 3rd and 4th graders who will have a fun learning experience in STEM). Rotarians will volunteer at the camp itself. The Rotary Club of Boise Downtown will partner with the Rotary Club of Boise East. Cost will be $99/student.
