Project Description Country: Mexico Location: Ensenada Total Budget: $10,350 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Dental /Vision Clinic in Ensenada,Mexico serving children and extended family in under served communities. On 10-26-19 and 3-28-20, there will be a Dental and Vision clinic at an under served elementary school identified by the Local Califia Rotary Club. The children will receive Dental exams, sealing, cavities filled, teeth pulled and Hygiene and education for maintaining heath. Additionally the children and their extended Families will have a vision exam and provided with corrective glasses as needed. Project funds will be used for necessary dental supplies and glasses. See attached break out of supplies on Application. Club members help gather supplies prior to event. They travel to Mexico to work at the clinic the day of. They help the dentists, the eye Doc, manage the children and flow for the Docs,pass out supplies, liaison with the local club and the parents and assist where needed.
