Project Description Country: USA Location: Apache Junction, AZ Total Budget: $4,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Education: Scholarship Summary: 4 Scholarships in the amount of $1000 each will be awarded to CAC students in Apache Junction, AZ. The 4 students will be pre-qualified by Rotarians. Our club will fund $2000 and District 5495 will match the $2000. The selection is completed near the end of the school year. The funds are paid to the College in the name of the student. The funds are distributed to the student upon request. Rotarians read applications and select the recipient based upon grades and need. 3 Rotarians are involved in the approval and distribution of funds.
