Summary: Water Purification Plant in a school in Nueva Rosita Coahuila Mexico
The Rotary Club of Coronado Binacional and Rotary Club of Nueva Rosita Centenario in Nueva Rosita Coahuila, Mexico will jointly do thier 3rd water project in schools. This project will benefit Elementary School Benito Juarez in Colonia Roma, in Nueva Rosita Coahila Mexico. It has more than 300+students. The school is located in the city's poor neighborhood. We will Install a Water Purification system of Reverse Osmosis. The school will receive the water purification system completely installed, tested and working. The school and PTA compromises to maintain, operate and secure the equipment at the school. The water purification system supplier will train school maintenance personnel. The Rotary Club of Nueva Rosita Centenario will create a water environmental group with teachers, parents and student to provide information and instruction about the water purification system. The high temperatures reached in this city are 104 to 110 degrees for 150 days in the year. Children get dehydrated, sick from gastrointestinal illnesses and there is a high index of children with diabetes as is cheaper to buy a soda or juice than water. This purification system will benefit more than 300 children, school teachers, staff and their families every day providing drinking water at no cost.The water purification system Supplier is SYCTA SA DE CV who has installed their systems thru Mexico. This Water Purification System will be installed by November 2019.
The total cost of the system is $4,000 plus $1,000 conditioning of the room where the water storage tank and water filters are located. The funds for this grant will be added to other humanitarian grants and donations received by Club Nueva Rosita Centenario.
We will send a total of $2,000 including the DDF to the Rotary Club of Nueva Rosita Centenario in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila Mexico district 4110 Club 68035 for this water project. The Club in Rosita will contribute $2,000 and their District $1000.
