Project Description Country: USA Location: San Diego Total Budget: $8,000 Area of Focus: None Activity Type: RI Youth Programs (Youth Exchange, RYLA, Rotaract, Interact) Summary: Provide funding for a variety of Youth Services Programs in District 5340 This grant will be used to help fund a variety of Youth Services Programs for the 2019-2020 Rotary Year. We will work in conjunction with our Host Club, Old Mission Rotary. 1. LEAD-Two schools, four students to LEAD in October,2019 ($1500) 2. RYLA--Five Madison HS students going to RYLA April 2020 (5 x $325 = $1625.) 3. Model UN--Four students and 1 adviser from Madison HS to 2021 Model UN($1500.00). 4. District Interact Symposium (October 2019)--Send 5 students from Madison High School Interact Club (5 x $150.=$750); 5. Madison HS Interact Club---$625. for Club expenses (banner, t-shirts, etc. 6. Rotaract Club--City Heights Rotaract Club ----($1000).--Club officer training for 5 members to attend Big West Institute July 2021 ----(1000.)--Club members to attend Big West Conference in Vancouver, BC in October 2019 (We are a Satellite Club of Old Mission Rotary Club--so we are applying under their name.
