Project Description Country: Mexico Location: La Rumorosa, Tecate Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene Activity Type: Water: Supply/Access Summary: This grant will be focus in providing better housing for people of advance age that are living in the community 'La Rumorosa' Lack of clean drinkable water, requires for them to be buying in gallons making it expensive, installing a water container and water cleaning system will reduce the cost; handicap facilities and accommodations are required for older personnel are required to help there movement in the premises and to do there physical necessities. Also purchase first necessity items for daily use and personal consumption. This grant will be focus in providing better housing for people of advance age that are living in the community "La Rumorosa" (between Tecate and Mexicali); La Rumorosa weather fluctuates from freezing (snow in the winter) to over 110 degrees in the summer. the house requires some updates to provide cleaner water to drink, cook and take care of the sick and wounded; other small infrastructures updates are needed to support the physical needs of older people leaving in the house Project Contact Person District: 5340 Rotary Club of: Chula Vista-Eastlake Primary Contact: Mauricio Torres Email: ing_torres@live.com Project Status Completed This project is "Completed".
