Project Description Country: USA Location: Rancho Bernardo Total Budget: $500 Area of Focus: None Activity Type: Health: Disease Summary: Covid-19 Community Assistance Project - Purchasing Meals for Delivery to Rancho Bernardo Home Bound Seniors and Making Masks for Palomar Pomerado Hospitals in Poway and San Diego This Covid-19 Community Assistance project is to purchase meals for delivery to home bound seniors in the Rancho Bernardo/San Diego areas and to purchase materials to make masks for the local Rancho Bernardo/San Diego/Poway Palomar Pomerado hospitals. The Club has allocated $250 for these projects and will allocate more funds if necessary. Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed) The project was changed due to safety precautions for RB Sunrise Rotary Club members. The project included 1. Purchasing materials and making 151 non-medical masks for Rady Children's COVID-19 Medical Equipment Initiative - $130.25 2. Purchasing $1,500 in meal cards for Belmont Village Senior Living deserving staff who have worked many hours of overtime during this Covid-19 crisis.
