Project Description Country: USA Location: Flower Mound Total Budget: $6,713 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Launching Fund Raising to Assist Covid-19 Low Income Denton County Residents due to temporary Job Loss Flower Mound Rotary combined with other Denton County Rotary Clubs are launching a Social Media campaign and a website to raise Funds in to assist the most impacted low income individuals from Job loss as a result of the Covid-19 stay at home orders and non-essential business closing. Inter-Faith Ministries has agreed to serve as our 501c(3) for the donations and will also greatly assist in the screening process prior to providing individuals $500 to $1000 grants. Clubs are involved in the committee overseeing this process. The Committee is being led by Flower Mound PE Lisa-Marie Thompson.
